Lindaena needed to get to some guy named Kirn in the ruins of Old Paineel, so we rounded up a bunch of Valor and a few
friends and went on over. We had quite the impressive showing.

So, we all waded in and blazed our way to the tower, killing everything in our path.

We finally made it to the (alleged) spawn site, where we killed everything and found a nifty hot tub!

We were having a grand old time, swapping really tired, really old jokes, and maybe drinking a little, when Scruey had
to jump in:

Well, after a long time, thanks to faulty intelligence (thanks a ton, eqshaman - pbthpbthth), we found out we were in
the totally wrong spot. We gleefully headed out to the right site, but never made it.
Here's where I would normally post a bunch of horrible text like:
So_and_so_01 has been slain by a broken gargoyle!
So has everyone else!
A big ugly gargoyle says, You will not evade me, Xingu!
You have been summoned!

You have been slain by all the mobs that were left!
And then I'd post some cool shots of us getting killed by a TON of mobs, and then a shot or two of our piled carcasses.
Unfortunately I was preoccupied, conmfirming that yes indeed, I could not mezz the gargoyles, and then I was preoccupied
with that whole evisceration and dismemberment thing. I missed the carcasses shot while holding the door open
for everyone to come back and claim them. Ah, well. Just as well, I suppose.
If anyone has those shots - hell yeah, I'll post 'em.
UPDATE: On the second try we got it! We had a few exciting moments and maybe a couple people died, but overall
it went pretty well. We got a couple nice extra items, Lindy got this part of her quest done, and we even got to help our
friend Poometok get the next part for his epic as well. Auear was there so we had some racial confusion issues, like
halfling bards and a dwarven Rexus. Pics upcoming.
