At long last Oronoco was ready to attempt the final stage of her epic journey to obtain the legendary Swiftwind, weapon
of the rangers. For some reason she yanked me out from behind the bar where I was having a nice long nap and made me
come along. Here is the tale of that fateful day, from this humble bard's point of view, and if it sounds a bit disjointed,
well, that's because I had a hell of a blinding hangover.
We had a fine group of noble folks ready to brave the Plane of Sky in search of the item Oro needed. Veteran Oronoco,
our guild leader the Teir'Dal shadowknight Sir Mohrmegil Iaurada, huge warrior Baron Sammyboy Ogrebottom, the talented human
bard Baron Finole Truxx, the lovely Koada'Dal ladies, cleric Exarch Paji, wizard Baroness Yenoh Honey, and enchantress Kelal
Clearmind, our brave Koada'Dal friend Sage Auear Gemkutter, the dwarven knight Sir Packinsmacky, the burly and yet somehow
sneaky barbarian rogue Veteran Hiemdahl Blacthorn, the wee halfling druid Kymn Possible, and me, the half-elven bard Xingu
Tatterboot, frankly about the only peasant in the whole lot.
We gathered on the Plane of Knowledge and Yenoh teleported us all to the Plane of Sky, and to the first island of
rock that floats there among the clouds. There we killed... um... fairy thingies until we all had the items we needed
to gain the next island. A crazy halfling, Sirran, gave us the keys we need to pop to the next isle, and off we went,
so far so good. On the next island we killed flying gargoyle thingies (yeah, I know - they're azaracks) and did the
same thing.
On the third island, our plan was to obtain the keys Packinsmacky needed to get to the next isle, and he would valiantly
lead the monsters we needed back to us by leaping off the island back to ours. Obtaining the keys, however, proved to
be a bit more difficult on the third isle. At first we were doing very well.

But then - we started to have problems.

Yenoh's dear friend Kanddy was nearby, though, and was able to call our souls back to the isle where we fell.
We dusted ourselves off and continued. We were swarmed again, however, and Auear, trying to control the gang of
hurty things that were stomping us into the ground, got stomped a little himself - ok, he got stomped a lot. Luckily
Packi Laid on Hands, healing him and pulling him back from the brink of death. However, Sirran took an exception to
- I dunno - something we did, and so:

(Note a trend here- I had so much fun during level 53 I just couldn't let it go)

Kanddy graciously resurrected us, and we patiently handed in our bits to the now-calm Sirran, and proceeded to the edge
of the isle to wait for Packi to pull for the final battle.
Off he went. Then he came back:

We killed everything... but all those damned flying horsey things look the same, and we had the wrong ones. So,
Packi did it again. We killed them again, and Oro had her Swirling Sphere of Color she needed for her epic.
Hoorah! Another epic in the guild! Grats Oronoco!
